Extra-help positions can work for a maximum of 1000 hours per fiscal year. Incumbents assigned to these positions will typically be assigned bailiff/court security duties or will be assigned security duty in a correctional facility on an extra-help only basis. Appointments made from this recruitment are not eligible to transition to permanent status.
